According to a report via The Hollywood Reporter, Steven Yeun will no longer star in Marvel’s upcoming “Thunderbolts” movie.

It was first reported in February 2023 that Steven would be involved in the film. Then in November 2023, Robert Kirkman (creator of “Invincible” and co-creator of “The Walking Dead”) appeared on David Finch’s (comic artist) YouTube show and confirmed that Steven was playing the role of Sentry.

Although no statement has been released by Marvel Studios or Steven Yeun to confirm this rumor, his name is not listed as part of the cast on the official “Thunderbolts” site

It’s possible that Steven’s involvement could have been impacted by last year’s writers and actors strikes, which pushed the film’s release date back a year to July 25, 2025.
