Two Americans were arrested after breaking into Punch the monkey’s home at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan
Two Americans (USA) were just arrested for breaking into Punch the monkey’s enclosure (his home!) at the Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan.
“We are informing you that the two individuals, including the intruder in question, have been handed over to the police,” the zoo said in a statement. “No abnormalities have been observed in the animals.”
The zoo said they are adding the following countermeasures: 1) Expansion of the viewing restriction area, 2) Installation of intrusion prevention nets in the restriction area, and 3) Constant patrol within the restriction area.
